Topless In Tampa
While I was out of town last week Red hit the jackpot in Feline Behavior Modification. As I have detailed here before, Garbo has been on a pooping rampage. Things escalated last week to where she was pooping outside of the litterbox at least once a day, sometimes twice. Red theorized that maybe, just maybe, she didn't like the litterbox cover and was pooping close to the box, but not actually in it. I found it hard to believe that she would develop such a virulent hatred for the covered box after 11 years of using one. But, what the hell. We've tried crazier tactics. Long story short (ok, too late), Red removed the tops last Wednesday and voila! No more poopvenge. I'm baffled, but giddy that we have solved the mystery. Not pleased about having two open litter boxes, but I'd rather scoop twice a day than clean the carpet every time I turn around. Three cheers to my super genius hubby who has, yet again, brought peace to a household of females.

I'm glad that you didn't have to resort to sewing her butthole shut.

Love the writing. Just began a new blog myself with Tampa Bay area pics I snap as the Duchess and I travel about.....
We also have a cat....CJ....he is the last of our trio of felines....Marmelade had to be put down at 19 1/2 which is a nice old age for a cat. We had to put down Bandit last Summer due a combination of Diabetes, and several other diseases. CJ, age 8 is chugging along and goes with us in our "retirement home", an RV...
Site for the RV is:

Keep up the blog! Best of luck with feline(s).
